This website is operated by Beacon Academy, Inc., at 570-D Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, NJ 08080. This policy explains information handled through our public website and general inquiries.

The website is intended for parents, guardians and other adults. This policy does not replace separate enrollment agreements or policies for student, educational, emergency or health records maintained through school processes.

Information You Submit

The Schedule a Tour form asks for a parent or guardian’s name, email address, phone number, child’s age and program of interest. The child’s name, preferred tour time, and questions or message are optional. Please include only information needed for your inquiry.

The form uses Gravity Forms within WordPress. Submitted entries are stored in the website’s WordPress database, and email notifications are configured to include the submitted information. Form submissions can also record an IP address and submission details used to process the request and help identify misuse.

Please do not send confidential student records, medical information, financial details or identification documents through general website forms or ordinary email. Contact the school to discuss an appropriate way to provide information needed for enrollment or school records.

How We Use Inquiry Information

Beacon uses inquiry information to respond to questions, discuss programs and admissions, follow up about tours, and maintain correspondence about the request. A website inquiry is not an official enrollment or student record.

Technical Information and Cookies

The website runs on WordPress and is hosted by WP Engine. When your browser requests a page, hosting and security services receive technical information such as your IP address, browser information and the requested page. This information supports delivering the website, troubleshooting and protecting it from misuse.

The website is delivered through Cloudflare infrastructure. Its __cf_bm cookie supports automated-traffic detection and website protection. WordPress also uses cookies for sign-in and signed-in administration; these are separate from submitting a general inquiry.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect website functionality. For information about the security cookie, see Cloudflare’s cookie information.

Google Fonts and Analytics

Fonts are requested from Google Fonts, rather than being supplied entirely from this website. Your browser connects to Google’s servers to retrieve font styles and files, providing technical request information such as your IP address and browser information.

Beacon uses Google Analytics for website-usage measurement on pages where it is enabled. It helps understand visits, pages viewed and website interactions. When active, Analytics may process browser or device information and use analytics cookies. The information collected depends on the Analytics features enabled.

Service Providers and Sharing

Service providers process information needed to operate the website and handle inquiries. These include WP Engine for hosting, Cloudflare for website delivery and protection, the WordPress and Gravity Forms software used to collect and store inquiries, email services used to send and receive inquiry messages, and Google for external font delivery and Analytics where enabled. Using Gravity Forms does not by itself mean that inquiry entries are sent to the plugin developer.

Beacon Academy does not sell inquiry information or share it for advertising. This does not prevent the service-provider processing described above.

Retention and Privacy Requests

The tour form currently retains submitted entries in WordPress indefinitely unless they are manually removed; no automatic deletion schedule is configured. Beacon has not adopted a fixed retention period for website inquiries.

Copies of inquiry information may also remain in notification emails and website backups. Removing a website entry does not by itself remove separate email or backup copies. This policy does not promise that those separate copies are deleted on a particular schedule.

For privacy questions, or to request access to, correction of or deletion of information from a website inquiry, call or write to Beacon using the contact details below. These requests require direct follow-up with the school. Please provide enough information to identify the inquiry without sending confidential student or medical information.

Security and External Links

The website uses HTTPS to protect information in transit. No website or ordinary email transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Links to Google Maps, Facebook and Instagram take you to external services with their own privacy practices. Review the relevant service’s policy before providing information there.
